Description
With ‘Blood Of The Innocent’, the Swiss thrash/power metal band Gomorra present their third studio album on the Noble Demon label. Nine powerful tracks combine the raw energy of thrash metal with the melodic intensity of classic heavy and power metal. Lightning-fast riffs, heavy grooves, razor-sharp guitar solos and rousing melodies characterise a sound that combines traditional songwriting with a modern, powerful production.
At the heart of the band is guitarist and mastermind Damir Eskic, internationally renowned for his work with the German thrash metal legends Destruction. With Gomorra, he realises his passion for classic US power metal, which he blends with uncompromising thrash energy. Together with long-standing friends and musical companions, the result is an unmistakable sound characterised by a joy of playing, technical precision and a special musical bond.
Following their debut album ‘Divine Judgement’ (2020) and the powerful follow-up ‘Dealer Of Souls’ (2022), GOMORRA are consistently continuing their musical evolution with ‘Blood Of The Innocent’. The album brings together nine new tracks brimming with energy, catchy melodies and an uncompromising metal attitude, underlining the Swiss band’s unique position between traditional power metal and modern thrash metal.
