Today, UK’s alternative metal act Neonfly celebrates the release of their brand new album, “The Future, Tonight”, out now on German Noble Demon label. With their third full-length, the band has taken an aggressively modern sound and approach that reflects Neonfly’s musical maturity and evolution: ten modern rock anthems, heavy yet catchy allied with hard-hitting…
With two critically acclaimed albums under their belt, Neonfly have been storming festival main stages, and touring as the main support band for some of Rock’s biggest names, including Alice Cooper, Dragonforce, Anvil, Gamma Ray & Magnum, since 2011. Their wildly dynamic live performances combining ferocious musicianship, a frenetically energetic frontman, and a fire-breathing guitarist have earned them a growing reputation as a compelling musical & visual live draw.
In May 2019, the band dropped their new single ‘This World Is Burning’ as a sample of a defiant new musical direction together with a staggeringly successful crowdfunding campaign that reached 121% of their original goal, and enabled the band to hire Grammy Award nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead, Bring Me The Horizon, Funeral For a Friend) for the new album.
Along with the rest of the world, Neonfly have endured the privations of lockdown during the global pandemic but haven’t let it stop them from forging new partnerships. The band have inked a new record deal with rising power-house metal label, Noble Demon and engaged new management with emerging players Guilty Gorilla.
In anticipation of the upcoming full-length release, Neonfly have forged a creative relationship with renowned Instagram star and fetish goddess, Dani Divine, who graces and defines the band’s upcoming single and music video: a cover of the 1970’s Shocking Blue classic ‘Venus’ accompanied by a tongue in cheek video homage to female empowerment. The video features a stand-out performance from the divine Ms Divine who gives the band short shrift throughout. Neonfly’s third album ‘The Future, Tonight’ was released on the German Noble Demon label in 2021.
Neonfly are Willy Norton (Vocals), Frederick Thunder (Guitars), Paul Miller (Bass) and Declan Brown (Drums).
