Noble Demon is the rising power-house of heavy Rock and Metal music founded in 2019 in Germany. Former Nuclear Blast head of digital sales Patrick Walch is running the brand new record label with support of former Napalm Records PR expert Mona Miluski’s agency All Noir and the product management and back office of UCM.ONE for the purpose of providing major level structures and support for both established and newcomer acts in the heavy scene.
New signings to the young roster are high class names such as the Melodic Death Doom project Dawn of Solace, Colombia/US Death Metal unit No Raza, Swedish Black Metal masters Night Crowned and established Swiss Thrash Metal band Gomorra, with many more to be announced soon.
The following bands are already part of the “Noble Demon tribe“:
Dawn of Solace
When Before The Dawn (short: BTD) was preparing to record 3rd album ”The Ghost” Tuomas Saukkonen realized that he had over 30 songs written. First idea was to simply make an double album for BTD but some of the material written started to sound too slow and dark for BTD style and Tuomas Saukkonen decided to push that darker direction a bit further and form a completely new project called Dawn Of Solace (short: DOS).
Debut album ”The Darkness” came out in May 2006 featuring BTD vocalist Lars Eikind on clean vocals and Jukka Salovaara on guest vocals and solo guitar. After the release several issues with label forced the project to go on a hiatus for undefined amount of time.
It took 13 years and 14 written albums until an idea of a song came up that ignite the flame to bring Dawn Of Solace back from over a decade of rest. Time took care of the issues with labels and legally band was free but 13 years had not taken away the crushing sadness that inspired the debut. After the floodgate opened the writing process for the album came really easy and fast and most of the music has been composed during the final recordings as a rather free stream of thoughts instead of a result of carefully planned and long timed pre-production. Waves came out to be a honest picture of the current times for its writer. Grey, heavy and dark but still sorrow carrying certain beauty and strength.
New album features Mikko Heikkilä (Black Sun Aeon, Kaunis Kuolematon) as vocalist taking over all vocal duties and Lars Eikind (Before The Dawn) as guest vocalist in one song. With Lars Eikind also Jukka Salovaara appears on the album as guest solo guitarist for 2 songs completing the circle with the debut album.
After the internationally successful Burning Witches, Gomorra are another musical “export hit” from the alpine republic, because Gomorra always mixes up the heavy metal scene.
The line-up consists of experienced and virtuoso thoroughbred musicians who have already celebrated their first successes with bands such as Gonoreas and Atlas&Axis. With their songs they do a kind of balancing act between heavy, power and thrash metal. The productions will be performed by and with V.O. Pulver are recorded at Little Creek Studio (Destruction, Burning Witches, Nervosa…) and therefore always sound fresh, dynamic and powerful.
Take a deep breath before these progressive-aggressive Finns take you on a rollercoaster of sophisticated madness. Backing their dual scream attack with a multidimensional hybrid of down tuned high tech guitar riffs and jazz fusion piano licks, Humavoid delivers a blistering and unpredictable blend of progmetal that effortlessly shifts from chaotic beating to contagious refrains and back.
Since its inception in 2014, Humavoid has put out a few independent releases with praising reviews and steadily grown their fanbase through vigorous live shows and several music videos all produced by the band itself. The new album ”Lidless” presents Humavoid as its most aggressive to date, but also further reveals the band’s experimental side.
After touring the globe for years and captivating audiences all along the way, Maxi Nil (ex Visions Of Atlantis) and Raphael Saini (ex Iced Earth) joined forces to hit the road for their very own and brand new musical adventure to be known, as Jaded Star. Exploding with energy, experience and drive, the band’s debut album, “Memories From The Future“ (2015), took the heavy scene by storm and not only brought Jaded Star sharing stages with with acts like Moonspell, Epica, Xandria, Draconian and many more but also building a loyal and worldwide fan base.
The years went by and after a memorable and intense journey with hundreds of shows around the world, it was time for the band to move on their next musical chapter. In 2019 Jaded Star entered the studio, not only with new ideas and ready to take things to the next level but also with a new line up…
The embodiment of Finnish melancholic metal Kaunis Kuolematon is releasing their third full-length album at the end of this year. Recordings of the album are done at Deep Noise Studios, Finland (Bloodred Hourglass, Wolfheart, Dawn Of Solace, To/Die/For) and artwork will be done by Niko Anttila (Wolfheart, Sabaton etc.). The band’s music gets streamed a lot on all platforms (around 20 000 listeners a month on Spotify, without new releases) and they have gathered a very real fan base following the bands rise. So far Kaunis Kuolematon has released two full-length albums, one EP and several singles. All the recordings of the new album are now finished and they move forward to mixing.
The band’s unique and recognizable sound has expanded Doom Metal’s typical borders, which has gotten them a lot of attention – the sound can go from beautiful melancholy and soft vocals into extreme driven metal and energetic screams. This makes their music appealing to a large audience from many metal subgenres. Singing in Finnish language has also given them a lot of good feedback and increased the interest and mystery of the band.
Jaani Peuhu, producer, songwriter and musician from Helsinki, Finland, is the creator of Darkwave electronic band “Iconcrash“, which debuted their first album “Nude” in 2005, followed by two more albums. In 2015 Jaani set out on his solo project and released his first album, “Tear Catcher”. Jaani joined Swallow the Sun while producing their (2019) album “When A Shadow Is Forced Into The Light“, which reached the Finnish album charts at #1. Jaani Peuhu also topped the album charts with writing and producing for German dark rock band Lord of the Lost‘s 2018 album “Thornstar” and was nominated for the Finnish grammy award “Emma“ for Hallatar’s debut album “No Stars Upon The Bridge“ (2018), which he also produced and mixed, along with playing bass live in the band.
Although Jaani Peuhu wanted to focus on his career as a producer, touring with Hallatar and Swallow the Sun made him want to tour with his own music again. He had the unique idea to create the genre of “New Doom”. From that, Mercury Circle was born. This is a new direction of dark metal infused with powerful synth/electro waves and doom. He’s finally returning to vocals to bring you something purely enigmatic.
In the frozen part of Europe’s northernmost realm, a new slithering seed is festering at the heart of the Swedish scene — known as Night Crowned. A spawn formed from an unholy communion between the current and the previous members of the underground elite such as Dark Funeral, Nightrage and Cipher System, this infestation is set to grow from a rumored disease into a full-scale pandemic.
Night Crowned’s musical vision is as clear as it is haunting and putrid; a reawakening of the sounds dormant from the most influential acts and masterpieces of the Scandinavian ‘90s, despite having advantages of a cutting edge, surgically precise production. Despite hatching a combined catalogue of over fifteen full-length albums, the seasoned and battle-hardened veterans of Night Crowned are still hungry like a gluttonous monster to procreate the dire melody charged blackened death music.
There will be no warning. No antidote, and no remedy. At first you will feel nauseous, then your body will be covered in black boils, and finally both your mind and matter will have been thoroughly infected by the blight that is … Night Crowned.

Some new bands fight, strive and pursue their convictions to be heard. Plaguestorm is not a band proper, but the effort and struggle of a single person seems to be equal to that of any band with many members. Plaguestorm is a studio project, and the founder’s ideas are clear, Melodic Death Metal, following the path of those bands that influenced him, In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Hypocrisy, Soilwork … that’s the path to forward. The project was founded by Sebastián Pastor (“Seba“) in early 2014, in the city of Bahía Blanca, Argentina, with a sound that mixes the old and new Melodic Death Metal, as if it were based on a Swedish manufacturing standard.
