The family film “Queen of Niendorf” (German: “Königin von Niendorf”) by Joya Thome (Darling Berlin) won the ECFA Award at the Ciné-jeune de l’Aisne Festival, a prize awarded by members of the ECFA’s European Children’s Film Association at selected festivals. All winners of the individual festivals run at the Berlinale in 2019 for the „Best European Children’s Film of the Year” Award.
