Mit zwei von der Kritik gefeierten Alben im Gepäck stürmen Neonfly seit 2011 die Hauptbühnen von Festivals und touren als Vorband für einige der größten Namen des Rock, darunter Alice Cooper, Dragonforce, Anvil, Gamma Ray & Magnum. Ihre wild-dynamischen Live-Performances, die wilde Musikalität, einen frenetisch energetischen Frontmann und einen feuerspeienden Gitarristen kombinieren, haben ihnen einen wachsenden Ruf als fesselnde musikalische und visuelle Live-Attraktion eingebracht.
Im Mai 2019 veröffentlichte die Band ihre neue Single “This World Is Burning” als Kostprobe einer trotzigen neuen musikalischen Richtung, zusammen mit einer atemberaubend erfolgreichen Crowdfunding-Kampagne, die 121% ihres ursprünglichen Ziels erreichte und es der Band ermöglichte, den für den Grammy Award nominierten Produzenten Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead, Bring Me The Horizon, Funeral For a Friend) für das neue Album zu engagieren.
Neonfly sind Willy Norton (Gesang), Frederick Thunder (Gitarre), Paul Miller (Bass) und Declan Brown (Schlagzeug).
In Erwartung der bevorstehenden Veröffentlichung haben Neonfly eine kreative Beziehung mit dem bekannten Instagram-Star und Fetisch-Göttin Dani Divine aufgebaut, die die kommende Single und das Musikvideo der Band ziert und definiert: eine Coverversion des 1970er Shocking Blue-Klassikers “Venus“, begleitet von einer augenzwinkernden Video-Hommage an die weibliche Selbstermächtigung.
Das Video bietet eine herausragende Performance von der göttlichen Ms. Divine, die die Band während des gesamten Videos auf die Schippe nimmt. Neonflys drittes Album “The Future, Tonight” erschien am 10. Juni 2021 auf dem deutschen Label Noble Demon.
