This year, the UCM.ONE team will be present at the 74th Berlinale from 15 to 24 February. The Berlinale (or in long form: Berlin International Film Festival) is an annual film festival held in Berlin. Alongside the film festivals in Cannes and Venice, it is one of the most important film festivals in Europe and worldwide.
The EFM (or in long form: European Film Market), which takes place this year from 15 to 21 February, is an important meeting place for filmmakers, distributors, film buyers and co-production agents. As the first film market of the year, the EFM is one of the three most important industry gatherings in the film industry, alongside the Marché du Film in Cannes in May and the American Film Market (AFM) in November.
UCM.ONE is not only active as a film distributor in Germany, but also as a global distributor. We hold the international theatrical rights to the majority of the films we release in cinemas in Germany, as well as the international TV and home entertainment rights to many films in our catalogue. Our aim is to offer outstanding feature films on the international market and make them accessible to a worldwide audience, whereby we mostly specialise in arthouse and documentary films as well as films by up-and-coming talents and film classics.
