Following on from their recent album “Neptunian“, released in December 2023 via the German Noble Demon label, progressive extreme metallers Winterhorde from Northern Israel have released a brand new lyric video for “Angels In Disguise“.
This captivating song, featuring the powerful vocals of Orphaned Land‘s Kobi Farhi, showcases the unmistakable blend of epic harmonies and brutal intensity for which the band is appreciated and celebrated by their followers.
Omer “Noir” Naveh comments: “On this song we had the privilege and honour of working with none other than Kobi Farhi from Orphaned Land, who lent us his voice and really took this song to new heights. Just like our previous collaboration with Vidi on “A harvester of stars”, working with Kobi on this song was a fascinating experiment, merging the style of Winterhorde with Kobi’s own flavours and nuances that make up his legendary voice. The result exceeded all our expectations and has become one of the best songs on the album.”
Since their formation in 2002, Winterhorde have been on a relentless journey of musical evolution, constantly pushing the boundaries of what they create. Their unwavering dedication to creating something greater with every chord they play and record has earned them a well-deserved reputation as one of the most articulate and innovative acts in extreme metal today.
Winterhorde have already shared the stage with some of the biggest bands in metal at various European festivals, including “Metal Days“, “Rockstadt Extreme Fest“, “OST Mountain Fest“, “Metalhead Meeting“, “Maximum Rock” and “Metal Yard“. Their performances alongside legendary acts such as JJudas Priest, Behemoth, Accept, W.A.S.P, Dimmu Borgir, Keep of Kalessin, Amorphis, Satyricon and others cemented their position as up-and-coming artists in the metal scene.
