For the first time at this year’s 21st FILMZ Festival of German Film, Mainz (3-13 Nov 2022), the special prize for outstanding achievements in film was awarded by the state capital Mainz. Cinematographer Jesse Mazuch received this special prize for his camera work in “Second Thoughts“.
In her first feature film “Ich Ich Ich” (English title: “Second Thoughts)”, director Zora Rux, a long-time collaborator of Swedish filmmaker Roy Andersson, uses poetic tableaux to tell a surrealistic and comic story about the search for the true self.
