Patrick Podage, supposedly still perhaps the most underrated producer north, west, south and east of the Swiss Alps, has returned to Plastic City to deliver an EP bursting with self-confidence and creativity.
Patrick Podage isn’t a skank. Rather he communicates and convinces through quality and diversity. With “Mudcrawler” – the A-side and title of the whole EP – he once again proves his talent to brew sophisticated drums with a powerful bass line and just a few more ingredients to a minimalistic conglomerate that makes his faithful audience tip over.

With the B-side “Sandcrawler” Patrick Podage grants us a moment to breathe a sigh of relief. The combination of soft sound surfaces and a memorable synthline that glides smoothly through the track makes the end of the song seem like an unpleasant return from a better world to reality.
