On Easter Sunday the German actress Hannelore Elsner died in Munich at the age of 76. One of her first film roles was that of the starlet Sylvia Stössel in the drama “Die endlose Nacht” (Darling Berlin) by Will Tremper from 1963. Hannelore Elsner was thereupon seen in more than 200 films and TV movies and is regarded as one of the biggest German acting icons.

We mourn the loss of one of the greatest German actresses, who unfortunately left us far too early. Our thoughts are with the family of Hannelore Elsner.
