Following their joint debut album “Absonderlichkeiten”, Marco Zaffarano & Andy Lupoli continue their successful creative collaboration. “Absonderlichkeiten 2”, the producer duo’s second joint album, will be released on September 25, 2026 on the legendary techno label Harthouse. Ten new tracks consistently build upon the musical vision of their predecessor, expanding it with new facets that range from driving peak-time techno to hypnotic sequences and atmospheric depth.
Right from their first single, “La Madonnina”, Zaffarano & Lupoli gave a powerful preview of the new album. The track, which also serves as the opener for the LP, set the tone for “Absonderlichkeiten 2” right from the start: an uncompromising drive forward, precise rhythms, and an intense club vibe. This was followed by “The Devil and I”, a significantly darker second single that placed greater emphasis on hypnotic synthesizer textures and a tension-filled atmosphere.
Throughout the entire album, Marco Zaffarano and Andy Lupoli bring these different approaches together. Powerful basslines and precise percussion form the rhythmic foundation, while modulated synthesizer sequences, atmospheric pads, and constantly surprising sonic details provide movement and depth. The ten tracks are consistently designed for large sound systems and intense dancefloor moments, yet they never lose sight of atmosphere and musical drama.
