After intensive brainstorming and the outstanding cooperation with the highly appreciated artists WorakIs, Moritz Hofbauer and Ann Clue, we are proud to present this great remix EP.
The A-side first features a 10-minute new version by Boris Brejcha himself, once again reminding us why Boris Brejcha has become such a driving creative force in the music business in recent years.
Moreover, it is this kind of dedication to music that allows us to look optimistically to the future.
This 2021 version by the master himself is followed by an incredibly successful new interpretation of WorakIs. We’ll go out on a limb and confidently claim to be talking about the “Hymn 2021”. And once you’ve had a listen to this musical journey for yourself, it doesn’t sound so far-fetched.
In any case, WorakIs sets new standards in storytelling with this dramatic and incredibly expressive sound experience.
Moritz Hofbauer seamlessly picks up on the B-side with a wonderful rollercoaster ride through atmospheric expanses paired with gripping percussion elements and a bold bassline. It is the impressive versatility of his remix that makes it stand out so much.
Ann Clue, an important companion of Boris Brejcha for many, many years, then enchants us on B2 with her interpretation of “Purple Noise“. While on the one hand she lets the buttery lead melody glide through wide spaces full of peaceful and harmonious atmosphere, she also trusts in her skill to skilfully implement driving rhythms.
