Following their collaborative album “Absonderlichkeiten”, Marco Zaffarano & Andy Lupoli continue their creative partnership and present “Absonderlichkeiten 2”, the next chapter in their shared journey on the legendary techno label Harthouse. The new album builds on the energy and versatility of its predecessor while consistently evolving the two producers’ shared sound.
The album kicks off with “La Madonnina”, the powerful opening track, which was released as the first single on August 28, 2026. At the same time, pre-orders for “Absonderlichkeiten 2” officially began. The very first track sets the tone: driving techno, hypnotic structures, and intense club energy meet the distinctive style of Marco Zaffarano and Andy Lupoli.
The full album will be released on September 25, 2026 and features a total of ten tracks. Zaffarano and Lupoli view “Absonderlichkeiten 2” not simply as a sequel to the first part, but as a further development of their shared musical concept. Powerful rhythms and pulsating basslines form the foundation, while hypnotic synthesizer sequences, atmospheric soundscapes, and emotional elements continually add new highlights.
The focus is consistently on the dance floor. The productions are tailored for large sound systems and intense peak-time moments, yet retain enough depth and richness of detail to transcend their mere function as club tracks. Tension, atmosphere, and dynamics unfold across the individual tracks, forming a cohesive electronic whole.
Marco Zaffarano, a mainstay of the German techno scene for decades and closely tied to the history of Harthouse, once again joins forces with Andy Lupoli. Together, the two blend their diverse experiences and influences into a modern techno sound that builds on the label’s tradition without resting on its laurels.
With “Absonderlichkeiten 2”, Marco Zaffarano & Andy Lupoli continue their collaborative album series. Ten new tracks that range from driving peak-time energy to hypnotic soundscapes and emotional depth showcase a producer duo that has found its shared sound and is further developing it on this second album.
