UCM.ONE GmbH, based in Berlin, takes over all music and film rights as well as many labels and trademarks from the Mannheim-based company daredo media GmbH as part of an asset deal. The volume of rights acquired includes approximately 15,000 band rights and 50 films as well as the music labels Plastic City, Harthouse, Mole Listening Pearls, Noom Records, fine Audio Recordings and the film labels Darling Berlin and M-Square Pictures.
The asset deal also includes UCM.ONE‘s theatrical distribution Darling Berlin, which will operate under the name UCM.ONE in the future. The employees of daredo media will also be taken over in the course of this transaction, so that the previous contacts for artists, labels and producers as well as distribution partners will continue to be available unchanged.
The music and film labels will continue to distribute via daredo GmbH (the parent company of daredo media GmbH). daredo will in future concentrate on its core business of distribution and aggregation.
