Almost a decade after their last album “In The Absence Of Light”, Finnish atmospheric metal band The Man-Eating Tree are back with the intense track “Seer”. The eagerly awaited new single is a dark and stirring return that promises to inspire fans and newcomers alike.

Seer” is the first taste of the upcoming album ‘Night Verses’, which will be released on April 11th by the German label Noble Demon. With a new line-up and a fresh sound, The Man-Eating Tree are ready for the next chapter in their history.

The band’s trademark blend of atmospheric beauty and heavy, crashing riffs comes into its own on ‘Seer‘. The track deals with topics such as fear and inner turmoil. Founding member Janne Markus comments: “The song is about the endless struggle with your own fears. The seers that live in all of us. A seer that draws its power from the prevailing negativity.

The band adds:We can’t wait to finally share this first song with everyone, and the whole album pretty soon! ‘Seer’ is a direct, heavy, even angry song at the beginning of a new beginning, just like the band itself at this point!

The song is released together with a music video, shot by Petri Marttinen and Kore Creative, which you can watch here:
