British alternative metal band Neonfly are today celebrating the release of their brand new live EP “Master Tapes – 10 Years Live at Masters of Rock“, available now via Noble Demon. As part of the release, Neonfly have released a brand new video for the song “This World is Burning“, recorded in 2022 at the Masters of Rock Festival.
“‘This World is Burning’ was the first single to be released from our third album ‘The Future, Tonight’ and led the way for our move towards a more modern, heavier sound,” explains singer Willy Norton. “The lyrics of the song, written at a time of great change in the world, along with the haunting video, were our attempt to make sense of this chaos. The song closes Neonfly’s live set with the blend of melody and raw energy that fans have come to expect from us.”
Having performed at the 2022 festival for the fourth time in ten years, this digital EP commemorates Neonfly‘s ten-year journey since their first captivating appearance on the international stage. Masters of Rock holds a special place in the band’s hearts as it provided them with a crucial platform that kick-started Neonfly‘s global presence. With each performance, the band has forged a deep connection with their fans and the festival community, culminating in this special EP that recalls their ten-year adventure at Masters Of Rock Festival from its humble beginnings in 2012 to the here and now.
