On Friday, June 12, 2026, “Nulpen” celebrated its premiere at the Babylon Kreuzberg in Berlin. The award-winning feature film was presented by UCM.ONE / Darling Berlin in cooperation with the SchulKinoWochen Berlin and the BJF Youth Film Jury. “Nulpen” opens nationwide in theaters on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
The evening began at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Babylon Kreuzberg. After the welcome remarks, the BJF Youth Film Jury addressed the audience, and the film was then screened. Guests had already been welcomed in the foyer; a photo call marked the start of the premiere.
Among the guests were representatives of the cast and crew, including director and screenwriter Sorina Gajewski, cinematographer Hannes Schulze, editor Raffaéllo Lupperger, producer Sabrina Holzapfel , and colorist Maren Henke , as well as lead actress Bella Lochmann, who plays Ramona in the film, Rio Kirchner, who plays Noah, and supporting actress Lia-Marie Große.
Following the screening, a discussion took place, moderated by film journalists Emilia Pegler and Konstantin Marx from Freie Generation Reporter, formerly the BJF Youth Film Jury. The discussion focused on the film’s production, the development of the characters, and the perspectives of those involved on the story. The session then opened up for questions from the audience, who took the opportunity to engage in a lively exchange with the cast and crew.
After the discussion, the cast and crew signed posters in the lobby and chatted with the audience there.
Following its premiere at Babylon Kreuzberg, “NULPEN” will open nationwide in German theaters on June 18, 2026. To mark the theatrical release, additional special screenings will be held in Berlin and Brandenburg:
