From January 2023, UCM.ONE will open a new office in Hamburg. While Mannheim will continue to be home to the music department and the theatrical distribution and home entertainment department for films will remain in Berlin, the digital film distribution (aggregator for audiovisual content) will move from Berlin to Hamburg. This is accompanied by a new team starting work in Hamburg. This means that films that are released digitally will now be received, checked, prepared and, if necessary, processed in Hamburg in order to then deliver them to internationally operating portals such as Apple, Google, Amazon, Netflix, Paramount+, Microsoft, MUBI, Chili, Sooner as well as to nationally oriented portals such as Maxdome, Videociety, Pantaray, Videoload, alleskino, Filmfriends etc. directly or via a clearing house.

The digital distributor (more precise designation: aggregator for audiovisual content) is thus also opening up to all competitors and rights holders who are looking for a trustworthy partner to place their films and series both with the major international portals and not lose sight of the portals operating nationally in individual countries, but to work closely with them in a targeted manner.
