The Munich Film Festival (German: Filmfest München) is one of the largest film festivals in Germany. It will be held this year from June 28th to July 07th. It presents feature, documentary and short films as well as television films in international, European or German premieres. With more than 180 films on more than 18 screens and about 80,000 visitors, it is above all a public festival. At the same time, however, it also serves film journalists and trade visitors as a meeting place for the film industry.
The festival takes place at central venues throughout Munich. In addition to the Filmmuseum, Sendlinger Tor Cinema, Gloria Palast, Theatiner Film, the City Cinemas, the Gasteig and the RIO Filmpalast in downtown Munich, the festival area draws with the HFF, the ARRI Cinema and the Cinemas Münchner Freiheit to Schwabing.
We are pleased to be able to not only be here this year, but also to have a film in the competition with the film “Kim hat einen Penis” (English title: “Everything Always All the Time”) by Philipp Eichholtz. The first public presentation, which is also the premiere, will take place on Thursday, 05. July 18:00 clock in Sendlinger Tor. The film crew will also be present.
