Theatrical releases

Most movies are produced for the big screens of cinemas. Because of we’re cinema lovers, we want to pay tribute to this fact and therefore we operate our own theatrical distribution in Berlin.

The following films had (or will have) theatrical release on the specified dates and have since been screened in selected cinemas:

Neo Nuggets – A Pulled Pork Comedy

by Andreas Schmied

In ‘Neo Nuggets ’, the dissimilar brothers Flo and Eddi are drawn into a turbulent adventure full of action, humour and crazy conspiracies, which takes them deep into the mysterious legends surrounding the legendary Toplitzsee. What begins as a harmless family affair quickly picks up speed when their sister, who was thought to be dead, suddenly reappears – setting off a chain of events that catapults the brothers into a chaotic game of espionage, treasure hunting and family secrets.

As a sequel to the Austrian cinema hit ‘Pulled Pork’ (2023), ‘Neo Nuggets’ brings the successful duo Pizzera & Jaus – who have been delighting audiences as celebrated music and cabaret stars since 2015 – back to the big screen together. In their starring roles as institutionalised brothers Flo and Eddi, they deliver a performance that is as heartfelt as it is anarchic, oscillating between slapstick, suspense and emotion.

Theatrical release: November 27, 2025

Available via UCM.ONE worldwide excluding Austria.

Good News

by Hannes Schilling

Leo travels to the south of Thailand, driven by the hope of an international breakthrough as a journalist. There he wants to report on a secret rebel group. During his research, he spends time with his friend Mawar, who dreams of a better life in Germany. The encounters with Mawar’s family awaken painful memories in Leo of his own life left behind in Berlin – and of his daughter, with whom contact is threatening to slip away. Under pressure, Leo makes a momentous decision: he writes his article without ever having spoken to the rebels. When photographer Julian turns up shortly afterwards, Leo begins a moral descent.

Good News impressively illuminates the inner and outer conflicts that journalists are confronted with when professional ambition collides with ethical principles. The film sensitively explores the boundaries between integrity and career ambition, loyalty and deception – and poses the central question: how far can you go to achieve professional and personal goals?
