The moving cinema premiere of “Soultribe – A Dance of Life” by director and producer Stefan Rainer on 5 November at the Mathäser Filmpalast and Gloria Palast in Munich inspired and touched the audience in the sold-out cinema auditorium and ended with standing ovations for the protagonists present and at the same time the makers of the film.
Stefan Rainer, Jenny Rainer, Patrick (SEOM) Kammerer, Johanna Heizmann and Maik and Dunja Burghardt were as authentic and close to the audience afterwards as they had been before in the film. The feature film about a section of their individual and joint hero’s journey as artists, entrepreneurs and parents picked up the audience where many of them currently stand: in the arc of tension between personal freedom and creative fulfilment as well as the pressure of social expectations.
In addition to experiencing the makers and protagonists up close, the more than 550 spectators were also treated to a colourful supporting programme with a red carpet hosted by Katrin Seibold, Thomas Schmelzer and Anja Plattner, live performances by Patrick Kammerer alias SEOM and Annika Dietmann, who took the audience along with them and set the mood wonderfully for the subsequent film enjoyment. At the subsequent get-together in the foyer of the Mathäser Filmpalast, there was feedback from the audience, who felt very connected to the actors and their stories and recognised parallels to their own lives.
Many of the topics covered in the film, such as social roles, raising children, homeschooling, couple relationships, financial challenges and finding one’s calling, were addressed again by the audience in the Q&A session that followed and personal questions were put to the actors and about the making of the film. Of course, there was also plenty of time to celebrate the premiere afterwards.
“Soultribe – A Dance of Life” was so well received in advance that, after several changes to a larger cinema, another screening was even shown almost simultaneously in the neighbouring Gloria Palast.

Following the successful premiere, the film’s journey now continues. “Soultribe – A Dance of Life“, which can be booked on the film label Artkeim² via UCM.ONE, will meet further audiences on its cinema tour through Germany and Austria and spread the message “Follow your heart”.
