Darling Berlin is proud to announce that our film “Mann im Spagat (Pace, Cowboy, Pace)” will be screened at the 7th Annual Queens World Film Festival which takes place from March 14th to 19th, 2017 in Queens, NYC!
The movie, directed by Timo Jacobs, is kind of a sequel to Jacobs’ debut “Klappe Cowboy!“: ‘Free swinging for word inhalation’ – For Cowboy as a libertine, and leader of the Headquarters for World Inhalation, that’s not such a big problem. He gives everything he’s got to clean up the environment, with the vision of saving the planet with his movement of Free Swingers. Cowboy applies for a grant from the Central Agency who sends a representative named Fey of Sweden to approve his proposal. She demands results, so he decides to stage a charity bicycle rally, featuring a roster of two-wheeled Berlin misfits. Realizing his vision of creating a better world could be so easy, were it not for his adversaries, who kill his mother’s bird and set the Devil of Hermannplatz on him in an effort to sabotage his plans – not the best timing, considering he also has to rescue his stubborn mother from a shady retirement home – and of course, her dying wish is to see Elvis perform. Impossible!
“Mann im Spagat (Pace, Cowboy, Pace)” features many well-known German actors, such as Meret Becker, Claude-Oliver Rudolph or Rolf Zacher, and pop icons from the likes of Olli Schulz and Friedrich Liechtenstein. See it at the Queens World Film Festival in March 2017!
