Mike Vamp and David Harrow had a lot of fun with their album “Diamonds & Dust” last year. Little dirty rock songs didn’t really fit into the vita of the two electronics legends. Glam, snot and rock’n’roll and a pinch of joke: in the music video for “Eyes Cold” they trolled through Berlin with a dinosaur playing drums.
Now, Vamp&Harrow are caught back with the “Dimonds & Dust” Remix EP from their wild album. Their tracks also work great in an electronic context. “Love Sell Out” advances from a rock stomper to a melancholic dance floor steamer and “Say” is transferred from a glam rock hymn to an afrobeat thunderstorm.
The Ferenc remix of “Behind Your Eyes” as also a techno stomper, is no second less fun than the rock version.
