On the surface, Nicolas Baslier works as an antiques dealer. Without his wife Dominique’s knowledge, however, he works as a secret agent and carries out an important assignment in this capacity. After photographing important documents in an industrial group, he goes into hiding for a few days with agent Françoise. By an unfortunate coincidence, his wife finds out about this and misinterprets the situation. Assuming that her husband is cheating on her, she shoots him and seriously injures Françoise. Suddenly she finds herself in the middle of a dangerous espionage affair that threatens to go off the rails …
