This year’s achtung berlin Festival – which is one of the most important festivals for independent cinema productions in Germany – has turned out to be a successful one for Darling Berlin and its movies and actors: our newest movie “Lotte” by Julius Schultheiß has won the 1st prize in the category Best Feature Film!
Congratulations to the director and the whole team – Darling Berlin will release the movie “Lotte” in cinemas in Germany in the near future.
“Lotte” tells the story of a young woman who has left her hometown and lives in Berlin, stumbling from one man to another, from one flat to another, and is suddenly confronted with her past…
More information coming soon on www.darlingberlin.de.
Another great success is the award for Best Actress, which goes to Lana Cooper – well-known from our first film “Love Steaks” (2013). Lana plays the leading role of Lara Schmelzer, a young and wild woman who works in a luxury hotel kitchen and encounters with Clemens, a shy massage therapist… Congratulations, Lana!
And, not to forget Hans-Heinrich Hardt, another actor who achieved credits for an outstanding performance in „Luca’s Silent Dance” (German: „Luca tanzt leise“) by Philipp Eichholtz, a film which is also to be released on Darling Berlin in the near future.
We are very happy for our directors and actors and look forward to this year’s upcoming theatrical releases „Lotte“ and “Luca tanzt leise”.
