The Finnish melodic death metal band SIGYN has signed a record deal with Noble Demon and is presenting its new single, ‘The Crawlers’, along with a lyric video. The track is taken from their upcoming second studio album, ‘From Nation To Chaos’, which is due for release on 10 July.

With razor-sharp riffs, epic melodies and driving energy, ‘The Crawlers’ showcases the signature sound of SIGYN, whilst also venturing slightly into new sonic territory – marking another step in the evolution of the band’s style.

Guitarist Markus Suomela comments on the track as follows: ‘The starting point for this song was different from our previous SIGYN material, and at first I wasn’t sure which direction it would take. But Valtteri’s orchestrations and keyboard parts created exactly the right atmosphere, and the song has since become one of my favourites on the upcoming album.

SIGYN were formed in Helsinki in 2008 and their style can best be described as ‘epic melodic death metal’ – a powerful blend of heavy riffs, fast-paced aggression and catchy melodies, occasionally complemented by symphonic elements.

Inspired by the Finnish metal scene of the early 2000s, the band blends intensity and atmosphere to create a modern yet distinctly classic melodic death metal sound. Following the release of their debut album ‘Dehumanized’ (2023), which made it onto Kaaoszine’s ‘Top 10 Albums of the Year’ list, SIGYN quickly established themselves as one of the rising names in the Finnish extreme metal underground. The single ‘The Real Me’ further expanded the band’s reach and received airplay on Radio Helsinki and Radio Rock.

With ‘From Nation To Chaos’, SIGYN further hone their musical profile, combining anthemic melodies, uncompromising riffing and an epic soundscape to create a sound that is sure to appeal to fans of Children Of Bodom, Wintersun, Arch Enemy, Nightwish, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth.
