Legendary techno visionary Der Dritte Raum returns with a resounding statement: “Neurocharger”—the first single from his upcoming album “Replacement Dreams.” Released on Harthouse, it is a powerful demonstration of technical precision, hypnotic energy, and pure dancefloor dynamics.
Together, the two tracks reflect the breadth of the album “Replacement Dreams” – from comfortable peak-time energy to sonic boundary-pushing.
Tracklist:
1. Neurocharger: An uncompromising club track: tightly woven, modular sequences, pulsating bass frequencies, and a linear structure drive listeners straight into trance-like states. Precisely produced, it hits like a technoid steam hammer—perfect for dark dance floors and explosive sets.
2. Hmuah-A-Hey-Tahb-Yu-DahAh (B-Side): Experimental, percussive, and highly original. Fragmented vocal samples, tribal-inspired rhythms, and abstract sound architecture give this track its hypnotic charm. Ideal for DJ sets with audiophile depth and a love of electronic experimentation.
With “Neurocharger”, Der Dritte Raum provides a clear indication of the upcoming “Replacement Dreams” album – technically adept, hypnotically dense, and uncompromisingly danceable. The B-side demonstrates his experimental range and makes the single a highlight for DJs, clubbers, and techno purists alike – once again proving that he wants to shape the market rather than simply serve it.
Der Dritte Raum is a long-standing project by German producer Andreas Krüger from Göttingen. Der Dritte Raum first caused a stir in 1994 when he gave DJ Sven Väth a demo tape, which led to his first release on the Harthouse label. Musically, the sound is characterized by distinctive, short snare drums, complex hi-hat patterns, concise bass lines, unusual sound colors, and flanger effects. His style is based on progressive techno, acid, Goa, and trance influences – always with a hypnotic blend of structure and groove. As a live act, Der Dritte Raum has won numerous awards, not least for its ability to redesign electronic sound in real time. With releases on Harthouse and Virgin, Andreas Krüger has continuously developed his stylistic essence – to the point of creating electronic music with a funky, kaleidoscopic expression.
