Finnish progressive metallers The Hypothesis are celebrating the release of their new album “Evolve” today, which is now available via Noble Demon. To further heat up the atmosphere, the band has released a music video for their latest single “Watch The World Burn With Me”, directed by Teppo Ristola and Juuso Turkki.
The Hypothesis‘s take on the track: “The song tells the story of an individual who sacrifices everything for immortality, only to lose himself and be banished from the gods, forever damned and alone among the stars. In exile, he conjures up demons to help him see the world burn and find solace in shared destruction.”
The Hypothesis are from Kouvola, Finland. Formed in 2009, this melodic metal band was born out of a desire to break free from genre constraints and evolve with each musical project. With former members now playing in renowned bands such as Opeth and Stratovarius, The Hypothesis is a powerhouse quartet with a relentless pursuit of musical perfection.
After their debut album “Origin” in 2016 and successful single releases in 2018, The Hypothesis signed with Noble Demon in 2024, marking an important milestone in their musical journey.
With the release of the album “Evolve”, which is just around the corner, fans of bands like Gojira, Textures and Tesseract can look forward to a captivating listening experience that pushes the boundaries of progressive metal.
