Arne Steinberg discovered his passion for electronic music at an early age, when he began collecting his first vinyl records and immersing himself in the various currents of electronic music. Frankfurt’s vibrant electronic music scene, which in the 90s was considered one of the most important techno strongholds in Europe, sparked his fascination early on and had a lasting influence on his style. From the legendary parties at Omen to Dorian Gray, the city offered him an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
Soon Arne started working the decks himself and making a name for himself as a DJ. He built up his career in the hippest clubs in Frankfurt and quickly developed a sense of how to feel the energy of the audience and incorporate it into his sets. His residency at rUNTERKOMMEN in the U-Bar of U60311, a legendary venue in Frankfurt’s techno scene, was particularly formative for his musical development. Here he not only curated his own sets, but also organised his own event series, which quickly earned him a permanent place in the scene. Through close collaboration with other local DJs and producers and continuous exchange within the scene, his musical network grew steadily.
