Finnish doom metal band Grain of Pain have released a lyric video for the song “Can’t Be Fallen”, which is featured on their latest album “The Moon Lights The Way”, which was officially releasedon May 31st via Noble Demon.
Mastermind Timo Solonen on the song and its meaning: “Even if you keep getting beaten up and knocked down, you can get up again. Never give up. Perseverance can sometimes be a good thing. This is a slightly different song, but it’s good to break the pattern. Lars brought energy to the chorus. The simple lead melody has been haunting me for ages and I just had to get it out there.”
The musical style of Grain of Pain, led by Timo Solonen, combines dark, emotional melodies with powerful vocals. The band’s line-up consists of a number of top-class musicians, including Timo Solonen (vocals and guitar), Juho Räihä (guitar), Lars Eikind (bass and clean vocals), Juuso Raatikainen (drums) and Sini Pajunen (vocals). Taka Eliel‘s backing growls enrich the band’s dark sound.
Grain of Pain ‘s sound is characterized by an intense emotional depth that draws on various influences to create a unique blend of dark atmospheres and powerful melodies. The dedication of the members has already been recognized: Lars Eikind won the prestigious Spellemannsprisen Award in Norway and Juho Räihä and Juuso Raatikainen were nominated for a Finnish Grammy with Swallow the Sun.
