This year, the “Locarno Film Festival” is the 76th edition of the well-known international film festival that has been held in the city of Locarno in Switzerland since 1946. The main feature of the festival, which will take place from 2 to 12 August 2023, is of course still the open-air stage on the “Piazza Grande” with space for over 8,000 spectators and one of the largest open-air systems in the world (26 × 14 metres). The Locarno Festival is known worldwide as the Festival of Discovery. The festival’s main prize is the “Golden Leopard”, awarded to the best film in the international competition.
UCM.ONE will be in Locarno from 03 till 07 August to discover new films and meet existing and new potential partners. With the film labels Darling Berlin, Artkeim² and NONFY Documentaries, UCM.ONE will also be present at several panels and meetings of the film industry.
