Synopsis

During the Second World War, many German Jews seek refuge far away. Some of them also hope for a new beginning in Finland. However, Finland’s alliance with Nazi Germany threatens to escalate the situation when the Jewish refugees are forcibly deported to German labor camps. Abraham Stiller, a respected member of the Jewish community in Finland, cannot stand idly by. The businessman does everything in his power to accommodate the escaped Jews in his production facilities in order to save them, but in doing so he increasingly reaches his own limits.

Based on true events, Finnish director Klaus Härö tells the gripping story of Jewish refugees who sought refuge in Finland during the Second World War – and of an unwavering hero who risked everything to save their lives. “Never Alone | Ei Koskaan Yksin” is a powerful film about courage, resilience and bravery.

The theatrical release on February 5, 2026 invites you to discover a story that powerfully shows how much courage individuals can have in dark times.
