“Neo Nuggets – A Pulled Pork Comedy” celebrated its German theatrical release at the Mathäser Filmpalast in Munich with an atmospheric premiere on November 27. Numerous guests and fans experienced a humorous and action-packed evening in the presence of the two main actors Paul Pizzera and Otto Jaus as well as producer Loredana Rehekampff from Samsara Film in Vienna, who all traveled from Austria especially for the evening. Michael Müllner and Josef Brandmaier from the German production company Kodachrome were also present.
Synopsis
Flo Kienzl(Paul Pizzera) and Eddi Kovac (Otto Jaus) actually wanted to lead a quiet life – but when Samira (Gizem Emre) suddenly reappears, along with a troop of heavily armed figures and a mysterious treasure in Lake Toplitz, the two have no choice but to help their sister, who they thought was dead. Suddenly they are caught up in a web of secret services, conspiracies and dark machinations. A legendary treasure in Lake Toplitz, an unscrupulous organization and their own troubled past force the dissimilar brothers to join forces once again – but this time there is far more at stake than just their own lives…
With a successful mixture of action, humor and social relevance, “Neo Nuggets” promises a spy comedy with plenty of Austrian humor!
The top-class ensemble around Paul Pizzera and Otto Jaus is rounded off by Benno Fürmann, Gizem Emre, Silvia Schneider and Melissa Naschenweng. Together, they bring pace and emotion to the screen and add pointed dialog and a pinch of romance to the humorous spy story.
