After his successful debut on the cult label Plastic City, Romanian producer Ovijay returns with his second EP: ‘Baila Tech’ – a rhythmic, emotional and subtly playful work that combines deep house roots with minimal sophistication and Latin American lightness.
The EP consists of two carefully produced tracks that are equally at home at sunny rooftop parties or intimate club nights. Ovijay is characterised by his focus on organic sounds, subtle melodies and a feel for flow and atmosphere.

1. Muévelo – Ein treibender Deep House-Track mit rollendem Bass, verspielter Percussion und einer warmen Club-Ästhetik. Der Titel (übersetzt: „Beweg dich“) ist Programm – hypnotisch, tanzbar und voller Groove.
2. Al Menos Uno Baila – Zu Deutsch „Zumindest einer tanzt“ – eine minimalistisch gehaltene Nummer mit bossa-inspirierten Akzenten und schwebenden Harmonien. Gefühlvoll, reduziert und tief – für jene Momente, in denen Musik mehr sagt als Worte.
Ovijay stammt aus Timișoara, Rumänien, und ist seit den frühen 2000er-Jahren tief in der elektronischen Szene verwurzelt – zunächst als Lichttechniker und MC, später als DJ, Veranstalter und nun Produzent.
As the founder of the party label Seara Românească, he has shared the stage with greats such as Paco Osuna, Rhadoo, Lee Burridge and Vera. His style – a mixture of minimal deep tech, soulful house and acoustic elements – reflects his deep musical intuition.
With ‘Baila Tech’, Ovijay continues his artistic journey consistently – and delivers two tracks that are timeless, fresh and full of soul at the same time.
