Andreas Krüger started out as a techno project over three decades ago with Der Dritte Raum. In the early 90s, he handed Sven Väth a demo tape at a party. Through Väth’s label Harthouse, he landed a deal with major label Virgin Records, which brought him into the UK singles charts in the late 90s with his techno classic “Hale Bopp.” Stylistically, Der Dritte Raum has changed over time without losing its distinctiveness.
