Finnish industrial metallers King Satan have released their new album, “The Devil’s Evangelion,” on the German label Noble Demon. To celebrate the day, the band has released a captivating music video for the track “Destroy The World.”
“Since ‘The Devil’s Evangelion’ is thematically something of an ultimate King Satan album, we wanted to incorporate this new version of ‘Destroy the World’ to come full circle and address the paradoxical themes we’ve explored from the beginning. We are not known for playing slower, melancholic songs, as our singles usually show a completely different side of our music. So we thought it was time to present this side of us as well. “The music video is perhaps the simplest and most complex KING SATAN video we have ever made, as I chose a minimalist approach with surrealist elements as the director,” comments Mr. King Aleister Satan, and further explains the concept of the album: ‘’The Devil’s Evangelion’ is a concept album focusing on duality and the paradoxical nature of reality. The concept is based on a trickster narrative in which the protagonist becomes convinced that he is possessed by the devil, leading to an experience of reality from the devil’s perspective.”
Since their formation in late 2015, King Satan have repeatedly redefined the boundaries of extreme metal. Their chaotic and theatrical sound, which combines elements of electro-industrial, symphonic black metal, death metal and rock ‘n’ roll, has earned them a loyal fan base.
Led by the enigmatic Mr. King Aleister Satan, the music of King Satan combines anarchistic artistry, absurd black humor, occult intrigue and profound philosophical reflections with rocking dance beats, thoughtful lyrics, hypnotic melodies and addictive hooks, which the band itself describes as “death metal disco”. A fusion that is suitable for both the dance floor and the mosh pit. With all these elements, the band defies conventions and stirs up controversy in a way that doesn’t really make sense – and yet it has helped them to cause a stir time and again.

Includes the complete lyrics of the following King Satan albums: ‘The Devil’s Evangelion’ (2024), ‘Occult Spiritual Anarchy’ (2022), ‘I Want You to Worship Satan’ (2019) and ‘King Fucking Satan’ (2017), along with selected lyrics from Saturnian Mist and various interview excerpts.
