We can’t get enough of Frank de Wulf and are stoked to welcome him back with his new “My Definition of…” EP. After his jaw-dropping re-release of “Drums in a Grip” Frank de Wulf is back with another big floor monster. The a-side “Supertonic” is a heavily grooving, very repetitive hypnotic warehouse heavyweight that bursts with energy and confidence.
The b-side “Drive” is an utterly gloomy and infectious piece of Techno. Wait for the break and the bone-dry drop which embodies Frank de Wulf‘s congenial understatement just perfectly. Dark as a cave and strong like a bear, this tune is a devilish beauty. And since the best things come in threes Frank de Wulf rounds off this EP with another Techno no-brainer.
When you listen to “Fifth Inside” you can’t but imagine a dark and crowded club with people united in sweat and excitement… something we’re all so desperately waiting for to come back.
Frank de Wulf, an audiophile from his early childhood on, has clearly shaped the sound of the 90s and early 2000s. Be it pure Techno, Electronica, Breaks or Progressive House, Frank’s versatility is mind-blowing and earned him the respect from listeners all over the world.
From today the EP is available at all download stores and streaming portals.
