Formed at the end of 2015, the genre-bending group King Satan is the brainchild of enigmatic artist Mr King Aleister Satan (Henget, Saturnian Mist), which has evolved over the years from its electro-aggrotech origins into a full-throttle industrial metal band.
The act’s vision of extreme metal brings forth an anarchic blend of carnivalesque artistry, absurd black comedy, occult intrigue and profound philosophical musings, served up in a heady mix of rockin’ dance beats, thought-provoking lyrics, mesmerising melodies and addictive hooks that the band themselves describe as “death metal disco”. A fusion that is suitable for both dance floors and mosh pits. With all these elements, the band defies conventions and embraces controversy, which on paper shouldn’t make much sense – and yet it has helped the band time and again to attract more and more attention wherever they go.
But King Satan is more than just a musical entity. The band is known for their infectious charisma and captivating performances, offering a live experience that electrifies stages and captivates audiences. With a reputation cemented by three full-length albums and viral chart-topping singles in Finland and Germany, they have graced renowned festivals such as Tuska Festival, Nummirock Metal Festival and Dark Malta Festival.
The group has also toured in several European countries, headlining their own shows and supporting respected acts such as Gothminister, Deathstars, Battle Beast, Hocico, Nachtmahr and Turmion Kätilöt.
The band’s fourth album, titled ‘The Devil’s Evangelion’, will be released worldwide on November 8, 2024 by the German record label Noble Demon. It will once again be introduced with single releases and music videos, in keeping with the motto of their ever-growing community: chaos is the law!
Mr King Aleister Satan on the band’s future and signing with Noble Demon: ‘We are absolutely thrilled to announce this devilish pact between King Satan and Noble Demon! We know we’re in the right place with Noble Demon, as we’re not only encouraged to do what we’re already doing, but we can also do it with their full support! Even if it might get dirty! And in the world of the absurd, of course, it always is. So let’s get dirty indeed! The devil’s work is never done! Long live Noble Demon and long live Satan! Chaos is the law!’
