Finnish progressive metal band The Hypothesis have announced their new album “Evolve”, which will be released on October 18 on the German Noble Demon label. With the song “Stray”, The Hypothesis have released the first single today. The song will be released together with a brand new music video directed by Andre Rodriguez and Juuso Turkki.
About the content of the title, the band says: “An anxious traveler struggles through difficulties. Ghosts from the past hold him down and heavy words from his past echo in his head. Eventually, he frees himself from the burdens of the past and finds his way home.”
Hailing from Kouvola, Finland,The Hypothesis was formed in 2009 as a melodic metal band born out of a desire to break free from genre constraints and evolve with each musical project. With former members now playing in renowned bands such as Opeth and Stratovarius, The Hypothesis is a powerhouse quartet with a relentless pursuit of musical perfection.
