The CiNENET channels on YouTube have grown by 44% in the new year 2025 to yesterday compared to the comparable period 26 September – 31 December 2024 with 19,300,000 engaged views and by 45% with 19,400,000 views. In terms of playback time, the growth was even 88% at 5,200,000 hours. Thanks to the team responsible for this significant increase.
The two new channels, CiNENET Portugal and CiNENET España, have also contributed to this success, gaining a combined total of 50,000 new subscribers between Christmas 2024 and today.
The marketing form AVoD (advertised-video-on-demand), which forms the basis for marketing on CiNENET, is the fourth common form of digital film marketing alongside DTO (download-to-own), TVoD (transactional-video-on-demand) and SVoD (subscription-video-on-demand). Revenues are generated through advertising that is displayed around the films. AVoD marketing has been an economically growing market for years, as consumers can supposedly watch films ‘for free’ (as with private TV channels), but in reality they pay with their time by watching adverts.
