Swedish hard rockers S.O.R.M have released their new single ‘Scream’. This track marks their debut with new guitarist Patrik Sandström and showcases their intense blend of hard rock, heavy metal and classic rock.
‘Scream is the first song by S.O.R.M to be written as a four-piece band. So it’s Patrik’s first recording with S.O.R.M,” the band explains. ’We’re tired of musicians not being able to express themselves with lyrics and music videos without being judged. With ‘Scream’, we broke ranks and wrote a song about sex and taking control of our own sexual desires. Writing music is an art form. Just as an artist can paint a portrait of two naked people having sex without being judged, why can’t we express ourselves as musicians however we want?’
Founded in 2017, S.O.R.M quickly made a name for itself with its outstanding EP ‘Hellraiser’ (2020), which captivated audiences with its catchy hooks.
Their debut album ‘Under My Skin’ (Noble Demon), released in 2023, further cemented their position in the hard rock scene and even managed to get legendary guitarists like Doug Blair from W.A.S.P. and Nick Petrino from Dee Snideron board as guest musicians.
