Susan, Anfang 50, ist eine ausgesprochen attraktive Frau. Doch die Halbitalienerin, geboren Anfang der 60er Jahre in Berlin, ist krank. Sie ist bipolar und hat eine schizoaffektive Störung. Sie habe tausend Leben gelebt, sagt sie stolz in die Kamera, zugleich aber betont sie, dass ihr Leben bereits mit 11 Jahren aufgehört habe. Denn da wurde sie sexuell missbraucht. Trotz guter Schulleistung und dem Versuch, einen bürgerlichen Beruf zu ergreifen, führte sie nie ein gewöhnliches Leben. Die Königin der Berliner Technoclubs der 90er Jahre, einst Drogen-Dealerin und Weltenbummlerin, verteidigt bis heute ihre Unabhängigkeit. Diese hat ihren Preis, denn Susan lebt in Berlin von Sozialhilfe und hat eine Betreuerin. Sie ist Alkoholikerin und befindet sich in einer co-abhängien Beziehung zu einem deutlich jüngeren Mann. Eine Vergewaltigung in der Zeit der Dreharbeiten setzt bei Susan Angstzustände frei. Doch sie spricht offen und offensiv über all das, was ihr zugestoßen ist. So ist dieser Film auch eine hochaktuelle Auseinandersetzung mit Sexismus aus der Perspektive einer schönen, missbrauchten Frau.

Dass sie unter Zwangsstörungen leidet, ist ebenfalls Thema des Films. Her suffering from an obsessive-compulsive disorder is also a subject of the film. With her impressive talent to perform, to make herself the center of the film and to do so in a very strong, self-confident and reflective way, Susan captivates the filmmaker Tim Lienhard, whom she met 25 years ago at the Loveparade in Berlin.
