Petrie’s Island ist eine abgelegene irische Insel. Als dort die Leiche eines Landwirts gefunden wird, die knochenlos ist, wird der bekannte Forscher Dr. Stanley auf das Eiland geholt. Bald stellt sich heraus, dass eine Gruppe von Wissenschaftlern in einem örtlichen Labor versuchte, ein Mittel gegen Krebs zu finden. Doch die Versuche gerieten außer Kontrolle und es entstanden dabei monströse Kreaturen, die die Knochen ihrer Opfer zerstören.

Petrie’s Island is a remote Irish island. When the body of a farmer is found there, boneless, the well-known researcher Dr. Stanley is brought to the island. It soon emerges that a group of scientists in a local laboratory were trying to find a cure for cancer. But the experiments got out of hand and monstrous creatures were created that destroy the bones of their victims.
