In der Zeichentrick-Adaption des Kinderbuchklassikers landet ein Eisberg mit einem tiefgefrorenen Ei auf der Insel Titiwu. Heraus schlüpft Urmel, ein kleiner, frecher Dinosaurier. Gemeinsam mit Professor Habakuk Tibatong und den Tieren der Insel – die alle eine eigene Sprachbesonderheit haben – muss Urmel sich gegen den größenwahnsinnigen König Pumponell von Pumpolonien wehren, der es auf das seltene Tier abgesehen hat.

Based on the famous children’s books by Max Kruse, the series follows the adventures of Impy, the last dinosaur. Impy lives on the hidden island of Titiwu with Professor Tibatong and a group of talking animals, including Ping Penguin and Barnaby the Sea Lion. While they try to teach Impy about the world, they must also hide from the greedy King Pumpkin, who wants to hunt the dinosaur for his trophy collection.
