On “Get Up, Get Out Into The Rain”, the Berlin-based NAOMI are approaching the Alternative House genre – starting with the beat and ending up at the emotion. At the same time, however, the duo is avoiding everything which is too cool or hip. Worked out really well – and the bass, beg your pardon, is sexy as fuck. With “Get Up, Get Out Into The Rain”, Nico Tobias and Bernd Lechler have written a song about childhood and even meditate over naivity and optimism: to derive enjoyment from annoyances and to recognize the potential of failures, making lemonade when the world is throwing lemons at you. At the same time, the song is the harbinger of the upcoming sixth album “Swim”, which is to be released in September and is much more relaxed, more elegant and more reduced than its predecessors, proving again: thanks to their diverse sound, Naomi are one of the acts in electronic music that is definitely not to be missed!
