After its TV broadcast, the film was shown directly in hundreds of cinemas, with record results for a TV film. Its unique and seemingly absurd concept – a tornado that picks up sharks and drops them on Los Angeles – caught the attention of viewers and celebrities worldwide.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The film was produced by The Asylum<\/strong> and has since gained a broad fan base. In “Sharknado<\/strong>“, Tara Reid<\/strong>, Ian Ziering<\/strong> and John Heard<\/strong> take on a tornado that picks up giant great white sharks and hammerheads and rains them down on Los Angeles. The film led to a franchise of popular B-movies with a total of six parts.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

A decade after its initial release, “Sharknado<\/strong>” will be released in German cinemas for the first time in 4K on November 16, 2023 on the film label M-Square Pictures<\/strong> in the new version with the additional title “More Sharks, More ‘Nado!<\/strong>” and with many new special effects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
