A decade after its initial release, “Sharknado<\/strong>” will hit German cinemas for the first time in 4K on November 16, 2023 on the M-Square Pictures<\/strong> film label in a new version with the additional title “More Sharks, More ‘Nado!<\/strong>” and with hundreds of new special effects and “Barbie Posters”.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The film, which first aired in 2013, was produced by The Asylum<\/strong> production house and has since gained a wide fan base. In “Sharknado<\/strong>,” Tara Reid<\/strong>, Ian Ziering<\/strong> and John Heard<\/strong> compete against a tornado that picks up giant great white and hammerhead sharks and rains them down on Los Angeles. The film led to a franchise of popular B-movies with a total of six parts.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]”Sharknado<\/strong>,” first broadcast on the Syfy Channel<\/strong> in 2013, quickly became a cultural phenomenon, not least due to the massive buzz on social media. After its TV broadcast, the film was shown directly in hundreds of cinemas, with record results for a TV movie. Its unique and seemingly absurd concept – a tornado picking up sharks and dropping them on Los Angeles – caught the attention of viewers and celebrities worldwide.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]For the re-release of the film, the producers of The Asylum<\/strong> have created an exclusive special poster in “Barbie”<\/em> style.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″]
