\nThe youth film “Fish in the Fur” (Geman original title: “Fisch im Fell<\/strong>“) \u00a0by director Dean Benzin<\/strong>, produced by the Protestant Ladenkirche in Braunschweig<\/strong>, is starting its fifth week of screenings. After successful screenings at the Protestant Church Congress<\/strong> in Nuremberg and in selected cinemas in Germany, the film continues to expand its presence.

\nIn Aachen, the film will be shown at the Apollo Kino<\/strong>, while in Berlin the Acud Kino<\/strong>, Union Kino<\/strong> and Rollbergkino Neuk\u00f6lln<\/strong> will include the film in their programmes. In Braunschweig, the home of the film project, Universum Kino<\/strong> will show the film. Viewers in Dortmund can see the film at Lichtspiel<\/strong> and Kunsttheater Schauburg<\/strong>.

In the picturesque Harz region, “Fish in the Fur<\/strong>” (Artkeim\u00b2<\/strong>) will be screened in a number of cinemas, including the Cineplex<\/strong> in Goslar and Gotha, the Neue Schauburg<\/strong> in Northeim and the Gandeon<\/strong> in Bad Gandersheim.<\/div>\n

It is supposed to be more than just an excursion. Once a year, the village youth group goes away for a few days to experience fellowship and leisure away from home. After a serious fire, the meeting place of six youths, a small hut, is completely destroyed, revealing a casket hidden under the floorboards. The mysterious contents call the group around Lydia to South Tyrol in the mountains. For Theo in his wheelchair, the tour is unthinkable. But he, of all people, is enthusiastic about the idea. He loves the mountains, for him the trip would be a dream. After initial scepticism, Sarah, Johanna, Finn and Luca agree. The journey begins. The destination is a cave near the summit.<\/p>\n

Not only the encounter with the transgender punk Ninja causes tensions in the group, but also the hike with the experienced mountain guide Peter brings up fears and self-doubt among the young people. The repercussions tug at the cohesion of the teens among themselves. Can they reach their goal despite the difficulties?
