The European DVD & Blu-ray premiere of Sam Curtain<\/strong>‘s film “The Slaugtherhouse Killer<\/strong>” will take place on UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span>‘s German label U1<\/span> Films Berlin<\/strong>, following its US premiere by Breaking Glass Pictures<\/strong> already on 06 April 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lead actor Craig Ingham<\/strong> (in the title role) was nominated for the “Best Actor<\/strong>“<\/em> award by the Australian Screen Industry Network<\/strong> in 2020 for his hauntingly convincing acting. In terms of the cold-bloodedness and realism in the staging of the murder scenes, the film is strongly reminiscent of John McNaughton<\/strong>‘s cult classic “Henry – Portrait of a Serial Killer<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

His passion for killing has kept Box (Craig Ingham<\/strong>) busy for decades as a sidekick at the local slaughterhouse. When Nathan (James Mason<\/strong>), a young ex-con, starts his first parole job at the slaughterhouse, Box gladly takes him under his wing. And Box really “takes care” of his young colleague, because when Nathan is bullied, Box summarily slaughters the bully right in front of Nathan’s eyes, thus making Nathan his accomplice in murder.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Nathan discovers that he too enjoys indiscriminate killing and so the two of them go on a killing spree after work at the slaughterhouse. Only Nathan’s unsuspecting girlfriend Tracey (Kristen Condon<\/strong>) is a thorn in Box’s side with his uncouth and pushy manner. After another horrific murder, in which Nathan is forced to kill a boy, he turns his back on Box and his actions.
