Before it is distributed theatrically by UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span> and released nationwide tomorrow by the film label Darling Berlin<\/strong>, the crazy and at the same time loving feature film “Heiko’s World<\/strong>” by director Dominik Galizia<\/strong> will celebrate its premiere tonight at 8:00 pm in the sold-out City Kino Wedding<\/strong>. Many of the actors and actresses, among other things the main actor Martin Rohde<\/strong>, and the film team will be present. After the film there will be a Q&A.<\/p>\n

The comedy “Heiko’s World” (German original title “Heikos Welt<\/strong>“) is an ode to – and odyssey through – Berlin’s corner pubs with their very own fauna of original characters. At the center of the tragicomedy “about beer, darts and motherly love” is of course Heiko, embodied by Martin Rohde<\/strong>, who has become a Berlin cult figure at the latest with the YouTube series “Heikos Welt<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

The character became so popular with fans that – according to director Dominik Galizia<\/strong> – something bigger was needed: a feature film that would turn Heiko’s charming world with all its colorful facets into a big whole.<\/p>\n

After the premiere in 2021 at the Munich Film Festival<\/strong> – Martin Rohde<\/strong>, who embodies Heiko, was honored here for his “acting performance”<\/em> with the New German Cinema Award<\/strong> – and celebrated screenings at the achtung berlin Film Festival 2021<\/strong> and at FILMZ Mainz<\/strong>, Heiko’s World<\/strong> is now coming to the big screens of the Republic on Father’s Day and will make many fan hearts happy.<\/p>\n
